I rebel non-violently
Peacefulness is a core value of Extinction Rebellion. Disruptive: yes, but violence: no! Unfortunately, that applies less and less to opponents and even to the agency that is supposed to protect us: the police. For instance, officers recently broke the wrist and rib of our fellow rebel Puk.
Puk continues to demonstrate. And when emotions run high, she tries to de-escalate: neutralizing potentially aggressive situations. We want to teach this skill to as many people as possible.
