From 19 to 24 May the Rebellion against the Fossil Industry will happen in Rotterdam! For climate scientists it is clear: to save life on Earth, governments and companies must do what it takes now. Why is action against the fossil fuel industry extremely urgent?

• Net zero emissions are vital. Sciencists states that CO2 emissions must go to zero as soon as possible, to stay below 1.5 degrees of heating the Earth and avoid catastrophic climate disruption.
• Our future is at stake. Despite the promises in the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, our government and companies continue to invest in the fossil fuel industry.

A lot of action materials are needed for the rebellion. Like banners, flags, lock-on tubes, creative installations, outfits and much more! There is also an extensive program of legal activities, including speakers, music, panel discussions, workshops and much more. Short version: this costs a lot of time and especially money.
